GWY has been accepting students’ delegation by My JICA, Malaysia for the past 7 years. Putrajaya is a planned city, located 25km south of Kuala Lumpur that serves as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, due to the overcrowding and congestion in the Kuala Lumpur areas. Nevertheless, Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital, being the seat of the King and Parliament, as well as the country's commercial and financial centre. Most of the residents are public government officials.
On 22 they visited a primary school of Presint 9(1), 95percent of teachers are female including principal. They put emphasis on art education which contains folk dance and ethnic music. On 23 they visited Presint 11(1) primary school. Pupils of that school achieved the best score in the national unified scholastic test. They were impressed with the courtesy and big motivation for studying of the students. During the meeting with teachers information was exchanged and told them GWY is very interested in building sister school relationship. GWY is ready to arrange study tour and sister school relationship celebrating 30th anniversary.
