From July 1 to 22 GWY supervised Japanese language training attended by 17 students for Division of Languages and Communication, Community College of City University of Hong Kong at Gifu Economical University. The project called 2018 GWY summer seminar includes observing Gifu prefecture’s culture and trips to local industries and meet with the people there. Students attended Japanese language training at Gifu Economical Univ from July 2 and 13 during which they visited several facilities in Ogaki city and Ogaki North Elementary school to join exchange program after that they were given a lecture on how to put on Yukata properly. They made courtesy call to director of Ogaki education board, Gifu historical museum, the memorial hall of Okunohosomichi final stage, Ogaki folk museum, Ogaki castle and local industries as Miwa brewery and Bon farm. On July 20 they met with Gifu prefectural government environment and life department chief and paid a courtesy call to Ogaki mayor. On July 16, they visited Gujo city and 17 to 18 they went to Shirakawago, Takayama city to make inspection tour to local industries. They experienced homestay program on July 7 to 8 and 14 to 15. They joined cultural exchange meeting with host families. After this party they departed for their tours in Japan.
